Point of Sale POS Credit Card Terminals

Point of Sale Terminals are the preferred way of processing credit cards, debit cards, checks, smart chip cards, electronic benefits transfer (EBT), and other electronically submitted transactions in a traditional retail environment. The terminals are used in "face-to-face" transactions. The merchant will swipe the customers card through the terminal or key-in payment information and the terminal does the rest.

Nurit 8400U - Battery operated or plug-in, this stand alone terminal needs no power cord! Features "Store and Forward technogy", allowing you to swipe credit cards and print a receipt when no phone line is available. Process later using a standard analog phone line. Price: $359

Credit Card Imprinter - Sometimes called a "Knuckle Buster", an imprinter allows you to take an imprint of the customers credit card using a two part carbon receipt. This allows you to give a receipt to the customer if you do not have a terminal with a built in printer. Great for face to face sales. Price: $39 - includes 100 slips & custom imprinter plate

VeriFone Tranz 330 / Tranz 380 - Cheap and reliable, a basic swipe terminal for the budget conscious. No built-in printer, but you can use an Imprinter if you need receipts. Requires a standard telephone line to process. Price: $99 Currently unavailable

VeriFone Omni 3750 - DISCONTINUED. Offers processing over an Internet IP connection in addition to a phone line. Replaced by Verifone Vx570 Price: $479

Nurit 8320U - DISCONTINUED. This battery operated version allows you to process where there is no power. Replaced by Nurit 8400U Price: $459

VeriFone Omni 3200SE - DISCONTINUED. Great for retail or restaurant situations, easy to use. Instead we recommend the Nurit 2085 Price: $279
