QuickBooks Credit Card Processing using Authorize.Net

Import/Export Functionality

To help you enhance your transaction management capabilities, we are pleased to introduce QuickBooks reporting and download features for Authorize.Net.

Authorize.Net allows you to download your credit card transactions in Quickbooks compatible IIF format. You then simply go into your Quickbooks software and import this IIF file through the File – Utilities menu.

You can set it to import credit card payments, invoices, or both. A new customer and invoice is automatically created upon import, or matched with an existing customer and invoice. This saves you time and helps with tracking and reconciliation.

QuickBooks is an Intuit® financial management system for small- and medium-sized businesses. The new QuickBooks capabilities allow you to track your Authorize.Net payment gateway transactions along with your QuickBooks accounts, simplifying your business’s financial management.

The following features for use with QuickBooks credit card processing are available with Authorize.net:

Enhanced Transaction Management – “Map” charge and refund transactions to established QuickBooks transaction types and accounts.

Easy Credit Card Processing Integration – Import successfully settled transaction download reports from Authorize.Net into QuickBooks via QuickBooks compatible IIF type file.

Configure Download Settings – You can establish default QuickBooks download fields, including customer, product, tax, freight, and duty settings.

Itemized Order Information – Submit itemized order information, including item descriptions, quantities, prices, and tax status, using new and enhanced transaction submission fields.

Transaction Details – View itemized processed order information on the Transaction Detail page and on Transaction Detail print receipts.

This QuickBooks credit card processing functionality is a standard feature of your Authorize.Net payment gateway account and is available to you at no additional cost.
