Laptop Credit Card Processing

Wireless laptop processing is one of the easiest and most inexpensive ways to process wireless credit card transactions. If you already own a PC compatible laptop, this could be the perfect solution for your business.

We provide you with our free JPOS Credit Card Processing Software, and you provide the laptop and a wireless network/Internet connection. Then you connect a USB credit card swiper (either a MagTek Mini or a MagTek M20 w/Store and Forward) to the USB port of your laptop.  Then simply swipe the credit card through the USB swiper and credit card transactions are then instantly processed via your Internet connection. This is much less expensive than any wireless terminal, since you are using a laptop you already own!

The only requirement is that your laptop have Internet access. You can use an existing WiFi connection, or an Air Card or Wireless Broadband Modem/card available from your cell phone carrier. Or you if you already own a PDA Smartphone type cell phone – Iphone, Blackberry, Palm, or Windows Mobile device – you can ‘tether’ your laptop to your cell phone and obtain a free Internet connection using PDAnet Software and not pay any additional monthly fees for Internet access. As long as your laptop has Internet access, you can process credit cards!

Need receipts for your customers? You can either print them from your PC or laptop, or simply use an inexpensive imprinter / knucklebuster, available for a nominal fee.
